This site should be accurate. When it is not, we want to know.

How we handle facts

We separate three kinds of statements: verified facts (with a source and, where the fact changes over time, a date), our personal experience (clearly written as ours), and local recollections (presented as memories, not settled history).

For population, administration and geography we rely on official Bulgarian sources such as the National Statistical Institute, and on referenced encyclopedia entries. Where sources disagree — for example different ways of measuring the distance to Varna — we say which measurement we mean.

Report an error

If anything on this site is wrong, outdated or unfair — a fact, a name, a translation, a photo caption — email [email protected] or use the contact form. Tell us the page and what should change. Corrections are logged and the page is updated.

Residents of Venelin can also ask us to remove or change anything published about them, their family, their business or their property. Such requests are honoured.

What we do not publish

We do not publish political or religious campaigning, commercial advertising, property listings, or content submitted to promote any of these. This website does not speak for the municipality or for every resident of Venelin.
